Medium Frequency Induction Power Supply is one important part of
induction melting system for melting different metal, and this
power supply includes three types, one is thyristor KGPS power
supply with triple voltage , this is parall-connection type which
means capacitors are connected with induction coil in parallel
connection mode, one is thyristor serial -connected resonance type,
another is dual cell transistor type, the last two types are all
serial connection type which means capacitors are connected with induction coil in serial connection
mode, they are all medium frequency.
As the casting industry develops, new generation of IGBT transistor
power supply is invented and it is the most advanced power supply
for induction melting furnace.
IGBT dual unit module medium frequency power supply of induction
furnace is currently approved as the most energy-saving power
supply, it can save power consumption much higher than thyristor
serial-connected power supply of induction melting furnace because
the current-limting inductor inside thyristor-inverting furnace is
rejected.
